The function of the St. Pius X Maintenance Committee is to assist the Pastor and Parish Manager in overseeing the maintenance of our facilities to provide a safe environment for the parish community. This committee will also assure that the parish facilities are maintained in the most cost effective manner. The Maintenance Committee includes a variety of skilled people.

The maintenance committee does a periodic inspection of the facilities, determines what needs repairing now, determines what needs to be upgraded and prepares reports for implementation of maintenance requirements submitting the findings to the Pastoral and Finance Committees.

Do you have a specific skill that would possibly be helpful in maintaining the parish facilities? Would you be willing to provide this skill to the parish on an “as needed” basis? From time to time problems occur in the parish facilities that require specific skilled personnel to repair/replace. We would like to establish a list for the parish that has the names and skills of the people who would be willing to help the parish on small routine maintenance items.
